1. Copyright Policy

1.1. Copyright Ownership

Authors retain the copyright of all articles published in Jurnal Ekonosia. Upon acceptance, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right to:

  • Publish the article

  • Distribute and archive the article

  • Make the article available online in the journal’s open-access platform

  • Index the article in national and international databases

This means authors keep full rights to reuse, distribute, republish, or store their work, as long as proper citation is provided to Jurnal Ekonosia as the original publisher.

1.2. Author Rights

Authors may:

  • Reuse the article for teaching, presentations, or institutional repositories

  • Republish parts of the work in books or other scholarly materials

  • Share the published version freely on social media, websites, or academic networks (ResearchGate, Academia.edu)

  • Deposit preprints or postprints in public repositories

All reuse must include full citation to Jurnal Ekonosia.

1.3. Journal Rights

The journal holds the right to:

  • Publish the work in print or digital format

  • Promote and disseminate the article

  • Maintain the published version permanently on its website

2. License Policy

Jurnal Ekonosia adopts an open-access license to ensure free and unrestricted access to scholarly work.

Under this license:

  • As long as proper credit is given to the authors and Jurnal Ekonosia

2.2. License Requirements

Users must:

  2. Provide a link to the license

  3. Indicate if changes were made

  4. Distribute derivative works under CC BY-SA 4.0

3. Open Access Statement

4. Author Warranties

By submitting to the journal, authors warrant that:

  • The article includes proper attribution for all reused materials

  • All co-authors have approved the manuscript

5. Copyright Infringement

If copyright violations are discovered:

  • The article may be corrected or retracted

  • The authors’ institution may be notified

  • Authors may be barred from future submissions

6. Licensing for Islamic Economics Content

For research involving classical Islamic texts:

  • Authors must ensure translations or quotations follow copyright rules

  • Classical works in the public domain are allowed

  • Modern copyrighted translations require permission
