Archive Policy

Jurnal Ekonomia ensures long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content through multiple archiving systems. The journal is committed to maintaining permanent availability of its scholarly materials regardless of technical or operational challenges.

1. PKP Preservation Network (PKP PLN)

The journal participates in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides free, distributed, and secure preservation of OJS-published content. PKP PLN ensures that all articles remain accessible even in cases of data loss or system failure.

2. LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

The journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a decentralized and distributed archiving system among participating libraries. This allows libraries to maintain permanent archives of the journal for long-term preservation and restoration if needed.

3. CLOCKSS

Jurnal Ekonomia supports the use of the CLOCKSS system (Controlled LOCKSS), enabling long-term preservation with secure, globally distributed backup copies in libraries participating in the network.

4. Institutional Repository

All published articles are deposited in the journal’s institutional repository or university digital library (if available) to ensure additional preservation and accessibility.

5. Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)

Authors are allowed and encouraged to:

  • deposit the submitted version,

  • deposit the accepted version (post-print), and

  • deposit the published version (publisher’s PDF)

in personal websites, institutional repositories, research networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu), or any open access repository without embargo.

Proper citation to the published version in Jurnal Ekonomia is required.

6. Indexing and Digital Database Archiving

Articles are also archived through indexing services and third-party databases that the journal is included in, ensuring wide distribution and long-term discoverability.

7. Digital Backup System

The journal maintains regular digital backups on secure servers to prevent data loss and ensure continuous access to all content.
