Reviewer Guidelines

Journal De Re Familia implements a double-blind peer review process as part of its quality assurance standards. Reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of published manuscripts. Therefore, each reviewer is expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Objectivity and Integrity

    • Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and free from personal bias.

    • Assessments should focus on scholarly contribution, originality, clarity of argument, and methodological soundness.

  2. Confidentiality

    • All manuscripts received for review are confidential. Reviewers must not discuss, reproduce, or distribute the content.

  3. Conflict of Interest

    • Reviewers must decline to review if there is any academic, professional, or personal conflict of interest with the author(s).

  4. Evaluation Aspects
    Reviewers are expected to provide constructive feedback on the following aspects:

    • Relevance of the manuscript to the journal’s focus and scope.

    • Originality, novelty, and significance of the contribution.

    • Clarity of structure and writing flow.

    • Appropriateness of methodology.

    • Consistency of citation style in accordance with Turabian 9th Edition (Notes and Bibliography Style).

    • Accuracy of conclusions based on research findings.

  5. Publication Ethics

    • Reviewers should report any indication of plagiarism, data fabrication, or other academic misconduct.

    • The acceptable similarity index is maximum 20%.

  6. Review Decision
    Reviewers should provide a clear recommendation:

    • Accept (no revision needed)

    • Minor Revision

    • Major Revision

    • Reject
