Publication Process

Journal De Re Familia applies a transparent and structured publication process to ensure the quality of each published article. The publication stages are as follows:

  1. Submission – Authors submit manuscripts through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.

  2. Initial Screening – The editorial team checks the manuscript’s relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, as well as plagiarism screening (maximum 20%).

  3. Peer Review – Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two reviewers under a double-blind peer review process.

  4. Review Decision – Reviewers provide recommendations (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject). Editors communicate the review results and revision requests to the author.

  5. Revision – Authors revise the manuscript according to reviewers’ feedback and resubmit through OJS.

  6. Editorial Decision – Editors conduct a final evaluation of the revised manuscript to determine its eligibility for publication.

  7. Copyediting & Proofreading – Accepted articles undergo language editing, citation style adjustment (Turabian 9th Edition), and layout formatting.

  8. Publication – Finalized articles are published online via the OJS platform of Journal De Re Familia.
