Reviewer Guidelines

  1. Purpose of Review
    Reviewers are responsible for evaluating manuscripts to ensure scientific quality, originality, relevance, and contribution to the field of education and Islamic education. Reviews also assist editors in making publication decisions.

  2. Confidentiality
    All manuscripts received for review are confidential. Reviewers must not share, copy, or use any content for personal purposes.

  3. Evaluation Criteria
    Reviewers are asked to assess manuscripts based on key aspects:

    • Originality: The manuscript must present new findings or analysis not previously published.

    • Relevance: Alignment of the manuscript with the journal’s focus and scope.

    • Methodological Quality: Accuracy and clarity of the research methods.

    • Analysis and Discussion: Depth of analysis and connection between data, findings, and literature.

    • Structure and Language: Organization, clarity of arguments, and academic writing style.

    • References: Compliance with reference standards and relevance of cited literature.

  4. Review Format

    • Reviewers should complete the review form provided via the OJS system, including comments for the authors and a recommendation:

      • Accept without revision

      • Accept with minor revision

      • Accept with major revision

      • Reject

  5. Reviewer Ethics

    • Reviews must be objective, constructive, and professional.

    • Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

    • Reviews should be completed within the deadline specified by the editor.
